Student Scholarships
2024 MW Student Scholarships
Since 2020, Wine Scholar Guild has supported students enrolled in the Master of Wine program.
Since 2024, we have offered assistance in the form of financial aid that can be used directly towards the student's Master of Wine course fees. We also award a number of WSG 1-year memberships that give access to our unparalelled set of resources that are invaluable to all students of wine.
Who can Apply?
This scholarship opportunity is open to all students officially enrolled in Stage 2 of the Master of Wine program.
Eligibility to apply for this scholarship will be verified by the Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW).
Payment of the bursaries will be dispensed directly to the IMW and will applied towards your student account fees.
2024 Scholarship Awards
A total of five awards will be granted to Stage 2 students enrolled in the Master of Wine program.
Award 1: $1000 USD bursary + WSG 1-year membership
Award 2: $1000 USD bursary + WSG 1-year membership
Award 3: WSG 1-year membership
Award 4: WSG 1-year membership
Award 5: WSG 1-year membership
Application Process
Submit the application form below along with an essay of 1500-2500 words on the following topic:
How should wine education institutions respond to the threats and opportunities presented by recent developments in AI technology?
Application Deadline
All applications must be complete and submitted by April 30, 2024 at 5pm CET. Incomplete applications, or applications received after this deadline, will not be accepted.
All applicants will be informed of the outcome on May 13, 2024.
Rules and Selection Process
Scholarship applications and essays are sent to the WSG scholarship committee for review and selection.
