    List of the comments:
I am very glad that i had an opportunity to study this program. Sometimes during the exam, questions were little bit difficult to understand for me( lost in translation).
Provider and the host during an exam were great.
In just fifteen weeks the Spanish Wine Scholar led me in a logical, organized fashion from novice to competence in the knowledge of wine laws, topography, indigenous grapes, viti-vinicultural practices, wine styles, and DOs of Spain. This is a thorough and thoughtful course that connects Spain’s vast history of winemaking to its present emergence as one of the most exciting wine-producing countries. It develops an appreciation of the drive of Spanish winemakers to rediscover indigenous varieties, recover old vines, and identify diverse terroirs to produce world class wines.
This was by far the best wine education experience I’ve participated in! The material and presentation were top notch. I learned so much and really enjoyed it.
It was amazing the amount of information i’ve got, i’m impressed!!
I have enjoyed taking the Spanish Wine Scholar programme enormously, and have found its contents really thorough and comprehensive, but accesible at the same time. It is a fantastic tool for wine enthusiasts and wine professionals alike, that can serve both as an introduction to the wondrous wine world of Spain as well as a complementary programme for other certifications.
Wine Scholar Guild courses form a perfect bridge between WSET courses, diving into regional depth much more with specialist knowledge
The SWS program is fascinating! It was created taking into account many details related to Spain and its wine business. The information about each region is clearly presented, up-to date and easy to understand. It is a must for any wine student and Spanish wine lover!
Loved the maps, easy layout and great presentation with Rick who brought it all to life!
The Spanish Wine Scholar offers a comprehensive deep dive into the wines of Spain. As with the French and Italian Wine Scholar programs, the course covers history and culture, as well as geography, geology, viticulture and wine-making by region, hitting most DOCs in each autonomous region of Spain. The material is engaging, and the book will be useful as a reference for years to come. Highly recommended!
No other program offers a complete and holistic understanding of the past, present, and future of Spanish Wine. The material is laid out in a very digestible manner, but also doubles as a resource to refer back to. I really enjoy that regions that aren't necessarily considered "need to know" at this point are marked as so, but still included to bring a complete picture of the wine landscape of Spain. Thank you to Rick Fisher and the WSG for bringing us such a dedicated program on Spanish Wines.
The Spanish course is complete and cover all the major DO´s in Spain. The maps are really beautufil, the information useful. I expect this course will be translate to Spanish soon. I recommend strongly!
The Spanish Wine Scholar course is perfect for anyone looking for a deeper dive into the fascinating world of Spanish wines. Beautifully put together with amazing pictures and information pertaining to Spains rich history, culture, food and of course wine! An in depth look at all the regions and their unique grapes, climates and production methods. An excellent course indeed!
If Spanish wine is not on your radar, it should be! This fascinating culturally and historically diverse region is brought to life through detailed maps and beautiful pictures that illustrate the informative in-depth text. The manual is clearly laid out so as to make it readily understandable and remains as a quick reference guide and refresher. Rick Fisher and the team at WSG have done a magnificent job! Thank you! I have learned so much and I have already planned my next wine trip - northern Spain from Barcelona, along parts of the Camino to Santiago de Compostella! - Diccon W.
This course is extremely thorough but also fascinating in terms of the breadth of content. If you have any interest in Spain, Spanish culture, history and their wine make past and present, then this course is perfect. The maps are very clearly laid out and the photos and snippets of historical and cultural facts really bring it all to life.
I would recommend the Spanish Wine Scholar program to anyone looking to learn more about the wines of Spain. It is a comprehensive, in-depth study program which is organized in a structured format and delivered in an enjoyable manner.
