About Christine:
“I am a wine enthusiast, a wine writer and instructor. Five years ago, I started taking wine courses and became entirely hooked. I write on my personal blog, www.girlsgogrape.com, twice a month and am a wine instructor in Vancouver and the Okanagan Valley. I was encouraged to take a fault assessor course for our B.C. VQA and successfully graduated and have sat on the B.C. VQA assessment panel for three years. In this role, I assess and judge all of our B.C. VQA member wines for faults before they are released to market.
I currently hold my WSET Advanced Level 3 with Distinction as well as my French Wine Scholar with Highest Honors.
I will be enrolling in the WSET Diploma Studies Program as well as the Italian Wine Scholar Program. I am incredibly confident that my Master Level Champagne certification will assist me in my future studies both professionally and personally.
With the successful accomplishment of attaining my Master Level of Champagne certification; I now want to learn even more. This certification has given me the confidence to continue my wine education and I will look abroad for opportunities to learn ‘hands on’ in the Champagne region”.
